The Samsung Galaxy S23 features a slightly revamped rear design than its previous iterations. There are three separate lenses for each camera along with an LED flash just beside the main camera. Moving to the aluminum frame, the power button along with the volume rockers are placed on the right with the speakers and USB-C port at the bottom. Samsung has gone for an eco-friendly build this time around since the S23 is crafted using recycled glass and ocean-bound plastic materials. The front is protected using Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The Apple iPhone 14 is slightly narrower than the Galaxy S23 in terms of width. It houses the rear cameras in a diagonal layout with the microphone and LED flash positioned at the corners of the camera module. Apart from the volume buttons and the power button on the left and right side of the frame respectively, the iPhone 14 also carries a distinguishable mute switch that allows users to easily silence their iPhones by flipping the switch. As for the display’s protection, Apple uses a Ceramic Shield glass which it claims to be one of the toughest glass among smartphones.
