India’s emphasis is on moving from being a consumer of tech to becoming producer and trusted tech player: MoS Chandrasekhar

The Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, spoke at the "Techspectations Digital Summit" in Kochi, Kerala today. He discussed the opportunities that the Modi government sees for growth in India, and how technology is playing a role in making those opportunities a reality. He also discussed the importance of state governments working together with the Centre to improve the Ease of Doing Business index.
