Back in December last year, Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones in China. The Xiaomi 13 lineup, including the vanilla Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, is now seemingly making its way to the global market as well. The lineup will most likely be announced during the upcoming MWC 2023.
Today, the Xiaomi 13 series Pro model has made its way to the Indian BIS certification, thereby suggesting an imminent launch in the country. Not only that, the device was also spotted on the Thai NBTC certification website.
Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro India, global launch
Spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the Xiaomi 13 Pro (with the model number Xiaomi 2210132G) has received the Indian BIS certification. The device has also been spotted on the NBTC certification website, wherein it has tagged along with its vanilla Xiaomi 13 (model number 2211133G) counterpart.
Both devices will be 5G handsets, as revealed by the NBTC certification, but it was pretty much a given already. Other than the moniker confirmation and the fact that both devices could soon be launching now, the certifications fail to tell us anything else about the devices.
Xiaomi 13 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.73-inch QHD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel. The device comes powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS4.0 storage. In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 13 Pro houses a 50MP + 50MP + 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie snapper.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 4,820mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The device runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box.
