After launching the Moto X40 in China late last year, Motorola could soon launch the device in global markets, including India as the Motorola Edge 40 Pro. The device will boast top-of-the-line specifications and is expected to replace the Motorola Edge 30 Pro that was launched in India back in March 2022. That said, a new report from Appuals has revealed various key aspects related to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro such as its storage configuration, colour options, and the handset’s price for the European market.

According to the report, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to come in a single memory configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage in Europe. To recall, the Moto X40 that was launched in China is offered in 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM with 512GB ROM storage models alongside the 256GB variant.
Furthermore, the leak also reveals that the Motorola Edge 40 Pro will be available in black and blue colour shades, just like the Moto X40. The handset is expected to be priced at €850 (approx. Rs 74,700) in Europe. As for the Motorola Edge 40 Pro price in India, we expect the Edge 40 Pro to start somewhere around Rs 60,000.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate along with DC Dimming, HDR, and 10-bit colour support. Running under the hood could be the 4nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. As for the optics, the Edge 40 Pro could carry a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto camera along with a 60MP selfie shooter. The handset is likely to boot Android 13 out of the box and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 125W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
