Smartphone brand OnePlus launched the OxygenOS 13 beta programme for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite last month in India. Now, the firm has started seeding the stable rollout of the Android 13-based upgrade to the Nord series smartphone after a month of testing. A formal announcement for the update rollout has not yet been made by the company, but several users shared on Twitter and the OnePlus Community site that they have received the Android 13-based stable update, rolling out with firmware version CPH2381_111_C.25, on their OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is the first Nord series device to get Android 13 stable update. There is no word yet on rest of the OnePlus Nord series’ Android 13 rollout.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 13 stable update rollout: features

The smartphone brand is launching a brand-new Aquamorphic design with the upgrade and has also improved the fonts to improve readability and comfort for the eye. With the OxygenOS 13 stable update rollout, OnePlus has added a few additional features to boost productivity and make the experience more secure.

The update adds a new sidebar toolbox that enables users to launch an app inside another in a floating window. In order to safeguard user privacy, there is also an automatic pixelation option for chat screenshots that pixelates the profile images and user names in a chat screenshot. The update also brings Dynamic Computing Engine to increase system performance, stability, battery life, and app use.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite was launched in India in April this year as one of the most affordable smartphones by the Chinese smartphone brand. It was launched in India at Rs 19,999 for the base 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 21,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. It comes in Blue Tide and Black Dust colours.

The smartphone features a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16MP front camera.The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
