After announcing the Indian and the global launch date of the OnePlus 11, OnePlus has today revealed that the device will launch in China more than a month before it launches outside the home country. The brand today revealed that the OnePlus 11, alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS, will launch on January 7th, 2023 in China. Not just that, OnePlus has also confirmed the memory configuration of its upcoming flagship. Let’s take a look.
OnePlus 11 China launch date confirmed
As seen in the promotional poster above, the OnePlus 11 will launch in China on January 4th. The poster also showcases both colour variants of the device, which are already known, by the way. Plus, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will feature up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS4.0 storage. That said, there will be no 8GB RAM variant of the device, and the OnePlus 11 will start at 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The storage type (LPDDR5X, UFS4.0) will be the same throughout though.
OnePlus 11 specifications (expected)
The OnePlus 11 is said to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. In terms of cameras, the OnePlus 11 is expected to house a 50MP + 48MP + 32MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera.
Coming to the software, the OnePlus 11 will boot Android 13-based ColorOS 13 skin out of the box in China and OxygenOS 13 in India and in the global markets. The device is tipped to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
