Tech giant Google announced its long-awaited comeback to the tablet market at the I/O 2022 event in May and provided a sneak peek at the design. However, a pre-release prototype of the upcoming Google Pixel Tablet and its charging dock has now appeared on Facebook Marketplace. A tipster ShrimpApplePro (VNchocoTaco), on the microblogging site Twitter, uploaded screenshots of the listing from a Facebook Marketplace post that purports to sell the announced but unreleased Google Pixel Tablet. Meanwhile, Google is likely planning to launch the Google Pixel Tablet in 2023.
Is this the Google Pixel Tablet price?
According to the screenshots, it can be seen that the unreleased Pixel Tablet is currently available for purchase on Facebook Marketplace for merely USD 400 (about Rs 33,000). However, it is not official as Google has not yet revealed the Pixel Tablet price. Meanwhile, previous reports have said that the upcoming Google Pixel Tablet will almost certainly be a premium offering and will compete with other flagship tablets, such as those produced by Apple and Samsung.
In terms of specifications, the screenshot reveals that the model highlighted in the Facebook Marketplace listing has approximately 256GB of storage space. It also indicated that the supposed Pixel Tablet has approximately 15 hours and 54 minutes of battery life left.
Google Pixel Tablet specifications
In September, developer Kuba Wojciechowski shared some Google Pixel tablet details exclusively with 91mobiles. The developer mentioned that the upcoming tablet will feature a 10.95-inch display and will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
He found Google’s first-party USI 2.0 stylus for the Pixel tablet, which is not surprising given that the Pixel tablet has previously been approved for USI. Furthermore, the upcoming Google Pixel tablet will likely with Google’s first-gen Tensor SoC and Wi-Fi 6 support.
