Samsung is set to launch the successors of the Galaxy S22 series: the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to a recent report, unlike the usual routine of launching the Samsung Galaxy S flagship phones in the latter half of February, this time Samsung might launch the Galaxy S23 series a few weeks early, around the first week of February.
The report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will be launched during the San Francisco-based Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event which is scheduled to take place in the first week of February. It further claims that the S23 series will potentially go on sale by February 17th, 2023. Let’s have a look at the expected specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series specifications (expected)
As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset in the global markets. The other specifications, live images, renders, and cases of the series have already been tipped earlier. The Galaxy S23 series is also expected to come with a bigger battery than the Galaxy S22 series.
The previous tip revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 could flaunt a 6.1-inch AMOLED display, have thick bezels, and might measure 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6mm. The Samsung S23 flagship lineup is also rumoured to come with 25W fast charging support.
Moreover, given the current scenario of the underperformance of the smartphone market across the globe and the loss that Samsung has faced in its memory chip business, the South Korean tech giant is deliberately trying to move up its Galaxy S23 launch timeline a little. As this could bring higher sales to the company as compared to its adversaries. To learn more about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
