Redmi appears to be readying yet another TWS earbuds, dubbed the Redmi Buds 4 Lite. Now, 91mobiles exclusively in association with Kuba Wojciechowski has brought the renders of the earbuds, which show off the entire design in full glory. The upcoming Redmi Buds look strikingly similar to the Apple AirPods 3 with the stem and non-in-ear design. This means the Redmi Buds 4 Lite might miss out on the Active Noise Cancellation feature. We see the earbuds in a plain white colour but there could be other options at launch. The earbuds will succeed the Redmi Buds 3 Lite.
Though Kuba hasn’t given us any hardware specifications, we believe the Redmi Buds 4 Lite could be a budget offering and come with the latest Bluetooth technology for connection. They should be compatible with Android and iOS. We can expect these to launch in India as well.
Redmi Buds 4 Lite renders
The Redmi Buds 4 Lite come with a stem and have a straight ear design. This is a huge design makeover from the Redmi Buds 3 Lite that have an in-ear design without the stem. The ear tips have cutouts, probably for microphones to take calls and pass on voice commands to Google Assistant. They are also slightly curved for a better fit in ears. The charging case is pretty basic, with two slots to hold the eartips and probably an LED indication light for notifications. As said, we might see more colour options at launch.
We do not have the hardware specifications of the Redmi Buds at the moment but we believe they might be priced affordably and should come with required features like fast pairing, gesture controls on the ear tips, the ability to send voice commands to Google Assistant and Siri, and others. Since it has a straight-ear design, ANC support might not be available. However, we can’t say for certain just yet. We hope to learn more details soon.
To recall, the Redmi Buds 3 Lite come with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with an SBC codec. There is Environmental Noise Cancellation and low-latency gaming mode. The earbuds come with Touch Controls for music playback and Google Assistant and Siri voice support. The earbuds have 6mm drivers and are claimed to offer 5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The charging case is said to offer 18 hours of backup. There is fast charging support as well. The earbuds have IP54 dust and splash resistance rating as well.
