Unopened, factory sealed 2007 iPhone sells for 65 times its original price: Here's how much it cost

The first-generation iPhone was launched in the US at a price of $599 (approximately Rs 49,200 as per today's currency rates) in 2007. The iPhone in question here is an 8GB variant and it has been sold for a whopping $39,339.60 (approximately Rs 32,34,000), as per LCG Auctions, the company which held the auction for the smartphone.
