After launching the iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro earlier this year in China, Vivo sub-brand iQOO is expected to launch its next flagship lineup, the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro in November or December. It is rumoured to launch post the announcement of the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset by Qualcomm. It is also tipped to launch not only in China but in India as well, as revealed by tipster Paras Guglani. Furthermore, a new report in Pricebaba has now revealed the official monikers and model numbers the upcoming smartphones.
The handsets’ firmware data has confirmed the official model numbers for both smartphones; iQOO I2209 seems to be linked with the vanilla India variant and iQOO I2212 is linked with the Pro India variant. On the other hand, the model numbers for the smartphone’s Chinese counterpart are IQOO V2243A and V2254A for the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro variants respectively.
iQOO 11 series expected specifications
According to leaks, both the upcoming smartphones are expected to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is anticipated to launch in mid-November, and flaunt the next-generation Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a hole-punch design. The vanilla variant is expected to offer a Full HD+ resolution display while the Pro variant might feature a 2K resolution display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 144Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker.
Further, the iQOO 11 is said to have 120W fast charging support while the iQOO 11 Pro might have 200W fast charging. Moving to optics, both the handsets are rumoured to have 50MP primary rear cameras with Sony IMX8-series sensors. The Vivo sub-brand might also use the V2 ISP chip on the Pro variant.
