The Realme 9i 5G, the company’s newest budget smartphone, will be unveiled on August 18 in India. The phone’s renders, which give us a better look at the design have surfaced online days before launch. They give us a closer look at the phone’s “laser light” design along with the rear triple camera setup. The handset has been tipped to come in two colour variants – Black and Gold. There is already a microsite operational for the phone, which will be available only online through Flipkart.
Realme 9i 5G specifications (expected)
The Realme 9i 5G has been confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset is also said to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. From the looks of it, the handset seems very similar to the Realme 9i 4G model that launched a couple of weeks back.
According to the renders shared on Twitter by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Realme 9i 5G will be available in Black and Gold. As previously mentioned, the triple camera configuration on the back of the phone can be seen in the renders; it may consist of a 50MP primary sensor and two 2MP auxiliary sensors for depth and macro photos. For selfies, we may get a 16MP front camera.
Along with having flat sides, the smartphone includes a power button on the right and volume buttons on the left. We also catch a look at the front, which features a hefty chin at the bottom and a dew-drop notch to house the selfie camera up top. We are unable to determine the display’s size, however, it may be a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD panel. Apart from this, the phone is expected to run Android 11 with RealmeUI 2.0 out of the box and could be priced at around Rs 15,000.
The Realme 9i 5G will be announced at a launch event on August 18 at 11:30 am. We will learn more information about the phone as the launch nears.
