After a series of leaks and rumours, iQOO has finally confirmed the iQOO 10 series’ launch date. The iQOO 10, which will consist of the vanilla iQOO 10 and the iQOO 10 Pro, will launch in China on July 19th, 2022. The brand has also confirmed that the iQOO 10 series will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the iQOO 10 Pro will focus heavily on fast charging. Let’s take a look.
First look
As seen in the promotional poster above, the iQOO 10 will launch in China on July 19th, 2022. The series will come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Furthermore, the first look of the iQOO 10 Pro has finally been teased by the brand. The device will feature a leather-like textured back and a large camera module located on the usual top left portion of the device’s rear. Other than what we mentioned, the brand has not given us any more details of the iQOO 10 series for now.
iQOO 10 Pro specifications (expected)
Starting with the display of the device, the iQOO 10 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch 2K+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will come powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will likely be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. On the software side of things, the iQOO 10 Pro will most likely come with Android 12-based OriginOS skin out of the box.
Speaking of the cameras, the iQOO 10 Pro is said to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 14.6MP telephoto camera. At the front, the device will likely come with a 32MP selfie snapper. Lastly, the device is said to sport a 4,550mAh battery with 200W fast charging support.
The iQOO 10 Legend BMW Edition is also supposed to launch during the event, the renders of which were leaked a few days ago.
