Nothing surprised everyone when it announced the arrival of its first-ever Android smartphone, dubbed the Nothing Phone (1). While the brand has officially confirmed that the Nothing Phone (1) will launch sometime during this summer, so far there’s been little information available when it comes to its specifications and features. Thankfully, a new leak has popped up, which suggests the display specifications of the Nothing Phone (1). Let’s take a look.
Nothing Phone (1) display specifications
As seen in the tweet above, the Nothing Phone (1) is said to feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The device is said to feature flat edges. The leak further claims that there would be no chin on the Nothing Phone (1), something the brand teased not too long ago. The tweet also contains a concept image of the Nothing Phone (1), which looks more or less like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus. We can, therefore, expect the Nothing Phone (1) to feature a similar profile.
Nothing Phone (1) specifications (expected)
The Nothing Phone (1) is said to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The device could likely make use of a customised chipset. Coupled with the processor could be at least 8GB RAM and at least 128GB internal storage. In all likelihood, the Nothing Phone (1) will boot the latest Android 12 skin out of the box.
For photography, we can expect the Nothing Phone (1) to sport a 50MP main camera with OIS support. The device is also being teased to flaunt a transparent back. Though not confirmed, the Nothing Phone (1) could feature a 4,500mAh/5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the Nothing Phone (1) will come with NFC support.
