Days after the Google Pixel 7 made the headlines by being up for sale on eBay listing four months before launch, the high-end variant in the series, Google Pixel 7 Pro, has also turned up online. This time, a Reddit user has claimed that the Google Pixel 7 Pro in consideration was purchased from the Facebook marketplace in the NXT listing (listed as Google Pixel 6 Pro) and has been used for three weeks. Further, the user says that the Pixel 7 Pro was working fine, but after a few days, it was factory restored, wiping all the data and then showing a bootloader screen.
While the Reddit post didn’t reveal any images of the actual phone to buff the claim, slashleaks has shared the live images of the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Let’s have a look.
Google Pixel 7 Pro live images
The live images of Google Pixel 7 Pro shared by slashleaks are akin to the Google Pixel 7 Pro’s design that Google showcased at the I/O event. The phone has an additional camera on the rear visor than the Pixel 7. While the back of the Pixel 7 Pro is cognate to the Pixel 7, the display of the Pixel 7 Pro is a different story. Like the Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 7 Pro comes with a curved display.
Another thing that was in common for both the prototypes was the logo at the back. The Pixel 7 Pro has the same logo that we saw earlier on the Pixel 7. The non-standard logo is Google’s way of testing Pixel prototypes, as we saw with Pixel 3XL.
The images also reveal that the Pixel 7 Pro has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. However, the odd thing here is the name of the device, Cubot Cheetah 2. We know that the codename of the Pixel 7 Pro is Cheetah, but Cubot is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has a Cubot Cheetah 2 smartphone in its catalogue. We expect things to be crystal clear when the phones officially get announced in October.
