Xiaomi is reportedly in the works to launch its Xiaomi 12T series of smartphones soon in the global market. While not officially confirmed, the rumours suggest that the lineup will consist of the vanilla Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. Today, a new leak has popped up, which suggests the key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 12T, including its processor, its memory variants, and more. Let’s take a look.
Xiaomi 12T specifications tipped
As per tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the upcoming Xiaomi 12T will come in two memory variants – one with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and one with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There are chances of the device launching in a 12GB RAM variant as well. Powering the Xiaomi 12T will likely be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Coming to the software, the upcoming Xiaomi 12T is said to boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box.
As far as its display is concerned, the Xiaomi 12T is tipped to feature a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel. Furthermore, the device is said to come with 120W fast charging support. Lastly, the Xiaomi 12T is tipped to feature NFC and OIS support.
The Xiaomi 12T will most likely make its global debut sometime in Q3, 2022, and while its Indian launch is not confirmed, we can certainly expect the brand to make the device(s) available in the country, the way it did with its predecessor. As for the pricing, we can expect the Xiaomi 12T to be priced around Rs 55,000 – Rs 60,000 in India, but this is mere speculation for now.
