Not too long ago, OPPO confirmed the launch of its upcoming OPPO Reno8 series of smartphones. The OPPO Reno8 lineup, which is said to include the vanilla OPPO Reno8, the OPPO Reno8 Pro, and the OPPO Reno8 Pro+, will launch in China on May 23rd and later in the remaining parts of the world. Ahead of the launch, the OPPO Reno8 series is available for pre-order via multiple e-commerce outlets in China, like OPPO’s China website, JD, and Suning. The pre-order pages for the OPPO Reno8 lineup showcase the devices in all their glory. Let’s take a look.
OPPO Reno8 series up for pre-orders in China
All three devices in the OPPO Reno8 series appear to be flaunting more or less the same design language. Starting with the vanilla OPPO Reno8, the device will feature a triple rear camera setup and a left-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera at the front. The bottom bezel of the OPPO Reno8 appears to be a bit too large.
The power button will on the right side of the device, while the volume up and down buttons will be on the left. The OPPO Reno8 (the entire OPPO Reno8 family for that matter) will ditch a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Moving on to the OPPO Reno8 Pro, the device appears to have a slightly smaller bottom bezel and a slightly larger camera island at the back. Additionally, the OPPO Reno8 Pro and the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ appear to come equipped with the brand’s in-house MariSilicon X chipset.
The OPPO Reno8 Pro+ appears to house the largest camera module at the back and the tiniest bezels among the lot. The overall aesthetics of the device appear to fall in line with the rest of the devices in the series. The device will feature a glass back and a metal chassis.
