Earlier this year, Google had announced that G Suite legacy free edition plan will not be available after June 30, 2022. There's a change in plan and Google is now offering a no-cost alternative to these users. The company will allow users to stay on G Suite legacy free edition plan for personal use. For those unaware, G Suite is Google's cloud-based suite of productivity and collaboration tools launched in 2006 as Google Apps. It was later rebranded and named as Workspace.
