OnePlus recently took the wraps off its OnePlus 10 Pro (review) in India and in the global market, after launching it first in China. This time around, OnePlus has changed things a bit, as it has only launched the Pro variant of the OnePlus 10 family so far and the vanilla OnePlus 10 is nowhere to be found. Now, a new leak suggests that the launch of the OnePlus 10 might be right round the corner.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its vanilla OnePlus 10. The device is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Let’s take a look at what the leak has in store for us.
OnePlus 10 launch imminent, OnePlus 10 Ultra might launch soon too
As per the leak, the OnePlus 10 is currently being readied for a limited release and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G mobile platform. The model was supposedly going to be scraped, but the tipster claims otherwise. Furthermore, he mentions that the brand is also working on launching an Ultra model in the OnePlus 10 lineup, and is currently working on it.
So far, OnePlus has not said anything about either of the devices, so we will have to wait it out for a while to know more about the OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus 10 Ultra. That being said, the leak sure hints that the OnePlus 10 might soon see the light of the day.
As for the rest of the specifications, we can expect the OnePlus 10 to sport a 120Hz AMOLED panel, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a 50MP main camera.
This is not the first time that the Chinese company has been linked with a MediaTek-powered flagship. The OnePlus 10R had earlier been tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. That is yet to be confirmed.
