Some phones are being introduced in India after being launched overseas first, while others are making their public debut. Realme Narzo 50A Prime – April 25th
Realme Narzo 50A Prime is a budget offering from Realme under the Narzo series. Realme first announced this smartphone in Vietnam in March, and now it’s launching in India on April 25th at 12:30 PM. We know a lot about the smartphone except its India price. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime specifications include a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD, UniSoC T612 chipset, a 5,000mAH battery with 18W charging support and a 50MP triple camera setup. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime will be the first smartphone from the company to come without a charger, also a first for the budget category.
Motorola Moto G52 – April 25th
Motorola is bringing a new G series smartphone to India – the Motorola Moto G52. The smartphone first made its debut in Europe earlier this month, and now it’s being launched in India. The Moto G52 features a 6.6-inch pOLED 90Hz panel, and the Snapdragon 680 chipset powers the smartphone. It comes with a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP camera on the front. The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAH battery supporting 30W fast charging. Motorola Moto G52 is expected to be sold for Rs 17,999 in India.
Vivo X80 series – April 25th
Next week, Vivo is announcing the next lineup of the flagship – the Vivo X80 series consisting of the Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+. The top-end Vivo X80 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC while, the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 could come with the Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 8000 chipsets.
The three models are rumoured to come with high refresh AMOLED panels, with the Vivo X80 Pro+ featuring a QHD panel and the other two coming with an FHD+ display. Further, the vanilla Vivo X80 is expected to come with a 50MP GN5 primary sensor, while the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+ might come with a 50MP JN1 main sensor with gimbal stabilisation. The vanilla Vivo X80 is rumoured to come with 50W fast charging, and vIVO X80 Pro and vIVO X80 Pro+ might feature support for 50W wireless charging and 66W wired charging.
POCO F4 GT – April 26th
POCO is geared to introduce the successor to last year’s F3 GT, aka POCO F4 GT. The launch event is scheduled for April 26th at 20:00 GMT+8 (5:30 PM IST). There is not much known about the POCO F4 GT, but it is rumoured to be the rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming. Considering if it’s a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming, we can expect it to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 4,700mAh battery with 120W charging, a 64MP rear camera setup and a 20MP camera on the front.
Xiaomi 12 Pro – April 27th
Last month, Xiaomi announced its flagship, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, in Europe, and now it’s bringing it to India. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is scheduled to launch on March 27th. Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has a 50MP+50MP+50MP triple camera setup at the back and a 32MP camera on the front. A 4,600mAh battery backs up the smartphone with support for 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 12 Pro costs USD 999 in the global market.
Xiaomi is also launching the Xiaomi Pad 5 and the Xiaomi TV 5A alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro on March 27th.
iQOO Z6 Pro 5G, iQOO Z6 4G – April 27th
iQOO is announcing two new smartphones in India – the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G and iQOO Z6 4G. As the name suggests, the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will be the top-end Z series model, while the iQOO Z6 4G will be the inferior model to the iQOO Z6 5G.
iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED panel with HDR10+ support and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The Snapdragon 778G chipset will power the smartphone, and a 4700mAh battery will back it up with 66W charging support. The smartphone is said to come with a 64MP triple camera setup and run Android 12 out of the box. The iQOO Z6 price is rumoured to be priced under Rs 25,000 in India.
There is not much known about the iQOO Z6 4G, but we might have an idea of what to expect from iQOO’s upcoming budget smartphone. Rumours suggest iQOO Z6 4G could come with a 6.4-inch display, Snapdragon 680, 50MP primary camera and 44W fast charging support. The iQOO Z6 4G is expected to cost Rs 14,999 in India. It’s rumoured to be available to purchase starting May 4th in Black and Blue colours.
OnePlus 10R – April 28th
OnePlus is introducing a new member in its 2022 flagship lineup – the OnePlus 10R. If you missed it, the OnePlus 10R is a rebranded OnePlus Ace, which is a rebranded Realme GT Neo3. There is not much left to imagination since OnePlus Ace has already been launched in China. So, we know what it holds in store for us and how much would it cost.
OnePlus Ace or OnePlus 10R specifications include a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120HZ AMOLED panel, Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 4,500mAH battery with 150W charging and a 50MP triple camera setup. The phone comes with flat edges, a first for the OnePlus. The OnePlus Ace comes in two colours – Black and Blue. The price of the OnePlus Ace in China starts at RMB 2,499 (approx Rs 29,600), so we can expect it to be priced similarly in India.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite – April 28th
OnePlus is also introducing the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, a toned-down variant of the OnePlus Nord CE 2, which is a toned-down OnePlus Nord 2. Interestingly, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is said to be the rebadged Realme V25.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite specifications include a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 64MP triple camera setup and a 5,000mAH battery with 33W charging. The smartphone is expected to come with a starting price tag of Rs 19,999 in India.
OnePlus is also expected to announce OnePlus Nord Buds on April 28th alongside the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.
Realme GT Neo 3 – April 29th
Realme is bringing the successor to the Realme GT Neo2 to India, the Realme GT Neo 3, on April 29th, alongside the Realme Pad mini, Realme Q2s buds and a smart TV. The Realme GT Neo3 specifications include a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 5,000mAH/4,500mAH battery with 80W/150W charging support and a 50MP triple camera setup. Realme GT Neo 3 price in China starts at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 24,000).
