POCO is yet to launch a smartphone in 2022 but that could change soon. As it turns out, POCO seems to be bringing its latest X-series smartphone, the POCO X4 5G, to the global and Asian markets. Rumours surrounding the POCO X4 lineup of smartphones have been popping up on the Internet for quite a while now, and both POCO X4 and POCO X4 Pro have been spotted on numerous certifications to date. Today, we have spotted the vanilla POCO X4 5G on the Thai NBTC certification website, which not only confirms its moniker but also suggests an imminent launch. Take a look.
POCO X4 5G visits NBTC
As seen in the NBTC certification image, the POCO X4 5G (with the model number 2201116PG) has today been certified. The certification confirms the device’s moniker and the fact that it will be a 5G device.
Sadly enough, this is pretty much everything the NBTC certification has in store for us when it comes to the POCO X4 5G. That being said, upon digging a bit more, we noticed that the POCO X4 5G Indian variant has also received the Indian BIS certification (2201116PI, where I stands for India), so the Indian launch of the device must be approaching as well. Below is the BIS listing for your reference:
Though the specifications of the device have not been confirmed for now, we can expect the POCO X4 5G to sport a high refresh rate display, a 5G processor (of course), and support for at least 33W fast charging.
As of now, this is all the information that we have on the upcoming POCO X4 5G, but we are sure to receive more intel on the same in the coming days. Whenever we do, we will make sure to keep you posted on the same.
