After months of waiting, Xiaomi is set to bring the Redmi Note 11 series out of China today. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has been one of the most successful budget smartphone lineups, and over the last few years, the Redmi Note smartphones have garnered a lot of praise for the value for money it offers. We expect the same from the global variants since their Chinese counterparts are already bang for buck deals. The company is expected to launch three smartphones in the series today: the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro 5G. Here’s a quick roundup of the global variant of the Redmi Note 11 series price, specifications, and everything else we so far know.
Just to be clear, the Redmi Note 11 series isn’t coming to India for now; we might have to wait for a few weeks before the Redmi Note 11 series teasers start in India. Also, the global Redmi Note 11 series would be a little different from its Chinese counterpart. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 has already launched as the POCO M4 Pro in the global markets and Redmi Note 11T in India. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note Pro+ were recently unveiled in India as the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
Redmi Note 11 series global launch event: time, how to watch
The Redmi Note 11 series global launch event is scheduled for today, i.e., January 26th, at 5:30pm IST. You can watch the live event on Xiaomi’s official website, and Twitter handle. The launch event should also be live-streamed on YouTube, though the video is not live yet.
Redmi Note 11 series design
The global variants of the Redmi Note 11 series are going to don a design similar to that of its Chinese counterparts. A few days ago, we got our first look at the Redmi Note 11 series, bringing our imagination to an end. The renders show an identical design with flat edges and a humongous camera module. The front looks reminiscent as well, with a hole-punch cutout and a thick bottom bezel.
The Redmi Note 11 series will be coming in four different colour options. As per Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro 5G will come in Graphite Gray, Polar White, and a shade of blue, reminiscent of the Diamond Dazzle colour of Xiaomi 11 Lite NE. Meanwhile, we also get a look at another shade of blue colour of the Redmi Note 11 series.
