Krafton is set to roll out a new update for PUBG New State, which introduces some new content to the game. Although this isn’t a major update, the game gets a new weapon, weapon customisation options, vehicles, survivor pass, and more. This might one of first content-related updates for the game as most PUBG New State updates so far focused on bug fixes and performance optimization. Unfortunately, the upcoming PUBG New State update doesn’t introduce new game modes or events. PUBG New State will most likely get some Christmas-themed event in the coming days, based on the upcoming winter-themed lobby design.

Krafton has revealed that new PUBG New State update will begin rolling out on December 9th, 2021. Players can download the new update via Google Play Store for Android, and App Store for iOS.

New weapon and weapon customization options
The new PUBG New State weapon is L85A3 assault rifle, which is a bullpup assault rifle that uses 5.56mm ammo. It has the highest damage of all 5.56 assault rifles, but it has a low rate of fire. The L85A3 AR can be found in both Troi and Erangel. The gun also gets a new attachment with vertical foregrip bipod that reduces its vertical recoil and nerfs its ADS speed. Along with these, the M416 gets a long barrel attachment that increases damage as well as vertical recoil, and SLR gets 5.56mm barrel get buffs accuracy and reduces damage compared to the 7.62mm barrel.

New vehicles
PUBG New State gets the new Electron 6-seater electric minibus that is more durable compared to other vehicles. The vehicle will spawn in Troi and Training Ground. The game also gets Mesta 2-seater sports car that runs on gasoline. Mesta will be available in Erangel, Troi, and Training Ground.
Survivor Pass Vol. 2
PUBG New State’s Survivor Pass Vol. 2 kicks off on December 9, 2021. The featured character of this pass is Bella from the Dream Runners faction. Players can complete the story missions to collect all Bella costumes. Premium pass holders will get 1,500 NC at level 48 along with other upgraded rewards.
Along with these, the upcoming PUBG New State update brings several quality-of-life upgrades and bug fixes.
