Xiaomi recently unveiled its Xiaomi 12-series of smartphones in China. The lineup, for now, consists of the vanilla Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the relatively cheaper Xiaomi 12X. The Xiaomi 12X sports a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display, 50MP main camera, and Snapdragon 870 processor. While not much information is available surrounding Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro for India, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources that Xiaomi will soon bring the Xiaomi 12X to India. Our source has exclusively informed us that the Xiaomi 12X will be launching soon in India. The device will be available in two RAM and storage variants – one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage and one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12X will launch in India in purple, blue, and gray color variants. While the exact pricing of the device is unknown for now, we can expect the Xiaomi 12X to be priced somewhere around Rs 40,000 in the country.

Starting with the display of the device, the Xiaomi 12X features a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and up to 1100 nits brightness. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12X is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. On the software side of things, the Xiaomi 12X runs the latest MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box.
For photography, the Xiaomi 12X has a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. At the front, the device boasts a 32MP selfie shooter. Lastly, the Xiaomi 12X features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
