Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch is speculated to happen in January. This comes after multiple reports and rumours saying the handset is being cancelled. Now, as we wait for an announcement from Samsung, the Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications. Interestingly, the listing shows the phone will be available in both the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 variants. Samsung usually launches flagships with both Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets for specific markets. It did so with the Galaxy S20 FE as well, which was available in Exynos, Snapdragon 4G and Snapdragon 5G models. It’s possible the Exynos 2100 variant might find its way to the Indian variant.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications on Google Play Console confirm the handset will be available in both Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 models and will have 5G network connectivity. According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has 6GB RAM, an FHD+ display with 1080 X 2340 pixels resolution, and Android 11 OS. While the Exynos 2100 has Mali G78 GPU, the Snapdragon 888 comes with Adreno 660 GPU. The listing also has a render of the phone, which shows a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine. The USB Type-C port and speaker grille are at the bottom.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass layer and a punch-hole cutout. It is tipped to have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a depth lens. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging. The Galaxy S21 FE is said to be available in Red, Orange, White, Lavender, Mint, and Navy options. 

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to arrive in both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled with Adreno 660 GPU and Exynos 2100 chipsets. It could pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that could be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos, and NFC connectivity. It could have a 4,500mAh battery paired with 15W fast charging support.
