Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch has been long pending and there have been rumours on and off that the phone may or may not have been cancelled owing to the global chip shortage. Now, after numerous reports, we have one more. SamMobile, citing sources in the know, reports that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will debut at CES 2021 in Las Vegas. For those unaware, the event is scheduled between January 5th and 8th. While Samsung is yet to officially confirm the same, it does look possible considering there have been multiple reports in recent times that the Galaxy S21 FE will debut in January 2022 and be on sale a few days after the announcement.
Samsung usually reserves CES for consumers products, laptops at best but hasn’t launched a phone in recent times. However, the report warns there might be changes in plans at any point considering the chip shortage so nothing’s ever certain with Samsung apparently. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications are already revealed, thanks to the leaked user manual.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications (rumoured)
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications are rumoured to include a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass layer and a punch-hole cutout. The phone will have a flat screen but with slim bezels. The phone could come in Red, Orange, White, Lavender, Mint, and Navy options. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to feature a triple camera setup on the back, probably with a 64MP primary sensor accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a depth lens. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled Adreno 660 GPU paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card. It could have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos, and NFC connectivity.
