Highlights
  • OPPO could launch the Reno 7 series in November or December 2021.
  • A live image of the Reno 7 Pro model has leaked online.
  • The smartphone is rumoured to sport a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display.

The OPPO Reno 7 series could launch very soon in China. There are three models tipped to be in the OPPO Reno 7 series and it is still not yet clear when OPPO will officially unveil all the models. These include the OPPO Reno 7, OPPO Reno 7 SE, and the top-end OPPO Reno 7 Pro.  The OPPO Reno 7 Pro may not launch this time around, though the latest leaks have suggested that it may exist. In a previously deleted post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station confirmed several key specifications of the OPPO Reno 7 series.

Now, an OPPO Reno 7 Pro live image has leaked online on Weibo (via MySmartPrice) again, which clearly shows us the whole front look of the device. The device is confirmed to sport a punch hole at the top left corner of the display. Let us take a look at more details of the upcoming device below.

OPPO Reno 7 Pro live image leak

The OPPO Reno 7 Pro is expected to launch alongside the other smartphones in the OPPO Reno 7 series by next month. The OPPO Reno 7 Pro live image shows that the phone will continue to sport a hole-punch display. The screen is flat and surrounded by minimal bezels on all sides. Even the bottom chin of the display, which is usually thicker than the other bezels, is quite slimmer on the OPPO Reno 7 Pro. The punch-hole cutout which covers a very small part of the whole display is placed on the top left corner of the screen.

Previous leaks of the smartphone have suggested that the device will come with Snapdragon 778G chipset, 64MP camera, 60W fast charging support, and a 4,500mAh battery. It will have an OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support, with a display size of 6.5-inches.

On the rear side, the Reno 7 Pro is rumoured to sport a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the hole-punch cutout will house a 32MP front camera. We will have more information about all the devices in the OPPO Reno 7 Series, as and when they launch in China and then globally in a future date, so stay tuned for that.
