iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro are expected to debut in India soon, though an official date is yet to be revealed. The phones launched in China back in August as successors to the iQOO 7 series. Now, while we wait for the announcement, the standard iQOO 8 has received BIS certification with the model number V2136. This certification is mandatory for any device to launch in India and also serves as an indication that the launch is nearing. This comes just days after the iQOO 8 and 8 Pro were listed on the IMEI database. Reports suggest the iQOO 8 Pro could debut in India as iQOO 8 Legend. Interestingly, iQOO is also said to be working on the iQOO 9 series, which could launch in early 2022.
