Sony’s latest gaming console PS5 will be up for pre-orders in India today at 12 PM IST. Both the disc-less digital edition and BluRay models will be up for grabs for those interested customers. It can be ordered through Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card, Games The Shop, Game Loot, and Sony Center. Despite launching a few months ago, Sony still seems to be struggling to procure enough stock to meet the demand. However, it is said that this time around Sony has increased its supply and the number of units available will be slightly higher.

The PS5 price in India is set at Rs 39,990 for the Digital Edition and Rs 49,990 for the Blu-ray version. As said, the gaming console can be purchased through Amazon, Sony centre, Games The Shop, Vijaya Sales, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Prepaid Gamer. It will be up for pre-orders at 12 PM IST. There are offers like no-cost EMI, HDFC, Axis, SBI, and ICICI Bank discounts.

Sony PS5 comes in two models: disc-less digital-only edition and a BluRay model. The latter comes with 4K UHD Blu-Ray Drive. It is equipped with an NVMe SSD slot for an expansion card of up to 1TB, 2.1 HDMI port, and is backward compatible with PS4 and USB HDD support. The PS5 is powered by an octa-core CPU with Zen 2 cores at 3.5GHz. The CPU is claimed to operate at 10.28 TFLOPs and 36 CUs at 2.33GHz. The gaming console packs 16GB GDDR6 RAM with a memory bandwidth of 449GB/s and it has 825GB of internal storage for games.
