Realme GT Neo 2T has been launched in China as a version of the Realme GT Neo 2 but with some differences in the chipset, display size, battery capacity, among others. The Realme GT Neo 2T ships with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC, 64MP triple cameras, 65W fast-charging support, a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, and Android 11 OS. Interestingly, the specifications are almost identical to the OnePlus Nord 2 that debuted back in July. It has the same Dimensity 1200 chipset, FHD+ AMOLED display, 65W fast charging support but a different 50MP Sony camera sensor. Today, we will be comparing the Realme GT Neo 2T and OnePlus Nord 2 to see which offers better value for money.

Realme GT Neo 2T price in China starts at RMB 2,099 (around Rs 24,600) for the 8GB + 128GB, RMB 2,299 (approx Rs 26,900) for the 8GB + 256GB version and RMB 2599 (around Rs 30,400) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. It comes in Black Mint, Olive Green and Vitality Black colour options.
OnePlus Nord 2 price in India is 27,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and Rs 34,999 for the 12GB/256GB version. The phone is available in Blue Haze, Go Green Woods and Gray Sierra colours.

Realme GT Neo 2T flaunts a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1300nits peak brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+. There is a punch-hole cutout present on the top-left corner.
OnePlus Nord 2 sports the same 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display but with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 2400×1080 pixels resolution, RGB and DCI-P3 colour gamut, AI Colour Boost, AI Resolution that is claimed to enhance colour and upscale resolution. It has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.

Realme GT Neo 2T has a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner to house the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The power button is on the right spine, while the volume rockers are on the left. On the back, there is a rectangular layout to house triple camera sensors and LED flash. Below that is the Realme logo. The 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grille and USB Type-C are at the bottom.
Interestingly, the OnePlus Nord 2 also shares a similar design. The volume rocker is on the left, while the power button and alert slider are on the right. On the front, it has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It has triple cameras arranged in a rectangular module. The USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and SIM Tray tool.

Realme GT Neo 2T has triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 4cm macro sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Realme GT Neo 2T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. It will be available in three storage models: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The phone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box.
OnePlus Nord 2 is also powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC coupled with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The phone is available in multiple models: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. It runs on Android 11 based on OxygenOS custom skin out of the box.

Realme GT Neo 2T packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. The OnePlus Nord 2, too, offers a similar 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65W support.

Realme GT Neo 2T and OnePlus Nord 2 are almost identical in terms of their design and hardware specifications. Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI, run on Android 11 OS, and have a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. However, the former takes a lead with regards to the display as it has a 120Hz refresh rate in comparison to 90Hz on the Nord 2. The Realme phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack, which is a boon for audiophiles as the sound output is anyway better through wired rather than Bluetooth. The OnePlus phone ships with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, in comparison, the Realme GT Neo 2T has a 64MP primary sensor.
So it’s quite evident the Realme GT Neo 2T has an edge among the two thanks to its smoother display and the 3.5mm audio jack.
