OPPO Reno6 series has been here for a while and it now appears that the company is working on the successor, the Reno7. After claiming the Reno7 series will feature a metal frame design and a punch-hole cutout at the left corner, noted tipster, Digital Chat Station has now tipped some key camera details of the OPPO Reno7. From what’s revealed, the handset is set to bring quite a few upgrades but it isn’t clear whether OPPO will bring an improved design since the Reno5 and Reno6 look almost similar. The leak doesn’t reveal much about its hardware specifications.
According to Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Reno7 series will use large-sized camera sensors. The vanilla model is said to be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, that measures 1/1.56-inch in size. In comparison, the current Reno6 Pro ships with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B main sensor, with a smaller size of 1/2-inch. The standard Reno7 is said to come with a triple camera setup on the back and a notification LED ring. Interestingly, Digital Chat Station says the OPPO Reno7 will compete with the yet-to-be-released Vivo S12.
Separately, the OPPO A54s is the company’s upcoming budget offering, and its price, colours, and RAM+storage options have leaked recently. The handset is said to be priced between €200 – €250, which is about Rs 17,000 to Rs 21,000. The phone is said to be available in a single 4GB + 128GB storage variant and will ship in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black colour options. The OPPO A54s will be available in India as well but the brand hasn’t said anything just yet. It will come as a slightly improved version of the standard OPPO A54.
