OPPO could be offering a new foldable phone in the coming months, with more details of its existence being leaked this week. The upcoming foldable could rival Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, with interest for foldable smartphones growing around the world. A new leak from a regular Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station tells us almost all details of the upcoming foldable smartphone, including its display, chipset, and camera details. Let’s take a look at more of its details below.

OPPO foldable phone specifications tipped

According to Digital Chat Station, the smartphone’s screen size should be about 7.8 inches to 8 inches, meaning it will have a bigger screen size than the Galaxy Z Fold3. The display panel on the Oppo’s foldable could be OLED just like the one on the Galaxy Z Fold3. The tipster also stated that the device under the hood will be powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The phone will come with a rear primary camera sensor of 50MP IMX 766 sensor and with a 32MP camera sensor for all the selfie shots. Additionally, the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and run on ColorOS 12 on top of Android 11. That’s all we know about the OPPO foldable phone for now.

We will have more details about the smartphone in the upcoming months, but according to Android Authority, the smartphone could launch early next year.
