Google made plenty of highlights a few weeks ago when it officially showcased its Google Pixel 6 series of smartphones. The Google Pixel 6 lineup, which consists of the Google Pixel 6 and the Google Pixel 6 Pro, now has an official launch date – October 19th. Google has finally confirmed the launch date of its highly anticipated Pixel 6 series launch and the event name has been dubbed Pixel Fall Launch.
Android 12 for Pixel devices to tag along?
Google recently released Android 12 as AOSP, but it did not provide us with a concrete timeline as to when the latest Android goodness would become available for us all. The best lead that we have is that we’d be getting it in the “next few weeks”. It, therefore, is highly likely that Google might announce the Android 12 rollout for Pixel devices at the same event. This, however, is an assumption for now, so we’d request the readers to take it as such.
The Google Pixel 6 series of smartphones comes with the brand’s all-new in-house Tensor processor. Both devices come with a refreshing Robocop-ish design and feature new cameras utilising Samsung sensors. Both devices will also be the first devices in the world to get Android 12.

Will Google Pixel 6 series launch in India?
For the fans of the Pixel lineup of smartphones in India, there’s no word as to whether or not this series will make its way to the country. So far, we have not been able to find any evidence of an Indian launch and we have not been able to trace any sort of Indian-centric certifications which the devices have received either. So, it’s too difficult to tell for now, sigh.
For now, this is pretty much all the information that we have on the upcoming Pixel Fall Launch event and we are more than certain that Google will tease more of this upcoming event in the coming days. Whenever it does, we will make it a point to keep you posted on the same.
