Realme Narzo 50A is all set to launch in India in the coming week. The company has officially confirmed the launch date and also revealed key specifications. The launch event is scheduled for next week and it will be live-streamed on Realme’s YouTube channel. The Narzo 50A is an affordable smartphone that’ll be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. Realme has also revealed the design of the phone, and it appears that the Narzo 50 series will consist of more than one model. As Realme has already confirmed, the Realme Narzo 50A launch date in India will take place on September 24th at 12:30 PM IST. Realme currently sells the Narzo 30A in India at Rs 8,999, and since the Narzo 50A is better equipped, it’ll likely be priced higher. We expect the Realme Narzo 50A price in India to be between Rs 10,000 – Rs 13,000 depending on the variant. We should know more regarding the pricing and availability at the launch next week.
Realme Narzo 50A specifications
Coming to the specifications of the Realme Narzo 50A, well, the company has pretty much spilled the beans. The microsite for the phone on the Realme India website has detailed most of the specifications. The phone will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 gaming chipset, which will be paired with the Mali G52 GPU. The chipset will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Narzo 50A will house a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It’ll also get a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be available in two colour variants called Oxygen Green and Oxygen Blue. Details regarding the display are not known yet, but it’ll have a flat display with a waterdrop notch. We recently shared exclusive renders of the phone, which revealed the design of the phone. The device has a rather large camera module at the back, which also houses the fingerprint scanner.
Talking about cameras, the Narzo 50A will feature a triple camera setup at the back with a primary 50MP sensor. It also gets a 2MP macro lens and another 2MP depth unit. It will come with software features such as a Super Nightscape mode, and a Super battery power-saving mode as well. The smartphone will run Android 11 based custom OS upon launch.
