The Vivo X70 series launch date has been revealed by the company. The upcoming flagships will come as successors to the X60 lineup and will debut on September 9th in China. The company has posted a teaser image, showing off the Vivo X70 Pro+ design and camera layout in full glory. The phone looks similar to the recently leaked render images. It has Zeiss optics on the back and there’s also a mention of T*, which is a special type of lens coating that eliminates the glare from stray light. In addition to the Vivo X70 Pro+, the lineup is said to include the standard X70 and the X70 Pro, both expected to be unveiled on September 9th as well.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has quad-cameras, arranged in an L-shape. One of them is a periscope telephoto unit. Though the back module makes one think the phone has a secondary screen on the back, but that doesn’t seem to be the case as it’s just a regular camera cutout. The Vivo X70 Pro+ will be available in Orange colour and it seems to have faux leather. While the teaser image hasn’t revealed much else about the phone, it is speculated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. While the brand hasn’t mentioned anything about the Indian launch just yet, we can speculate they might arrive soon rather than later.
Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ specifications
The Vivo X70 is said to sport a flat 6.5-inch display, with thin bezels around the screen, and probably an in-display fingerprint sensor. It could have FHD+ resolution and flat-screen. The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 paired with 12GB RAM and Android 11 OS. Similarly, the Vivo X70 Pro is tipped to have the same 6.5-inch display but with curved edges. It is speculated to be powered by the Dimensity 1200 SoC and 12GB RAM. Lastly, the Vivo X70 Pro+ is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch display, probably a 2K panel.
