Xiaomi Smarter Living 2022 – August 26th
Xiaomi is hosting a Smarter Living 2022 event in India on August 26th where it’ll be launching several products including Mi TV 5X, Mi Band 6, and Mi Notebook laptops. The Mi TV 5X is said to be the successor to the company’s 4X series lineup. It’ll have a metal build with a full-screen narrow-bezel design, and Dolby audio for an immersive audio experience. Additionally, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi TV 5X will come with Google Assistant support, thanks to far-field microphones, a new generation of Mi Patchwall UI, and “future-ready specs”.
The Mi Notebook laptops, on the other hand, are confirmed to sport a backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor for security, and the latest Intel Core processor. The machines are claimed to pack a Thunderbolt port along with an ultra-smooth refresh rate display that will bear a standard 16:10 aspect ratio, a 100 percent sRGB wide colour gamut, and 6.7 million pixels. Speculations are rife the laptops will be Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra 15. The pricing is expected to be on the costlier side considering what it brings to the table.
The Mi Band 6 is the company’s latest fitness tracker. It was officially unveiled earlier this year in China. The band comes with a bigger display than its predecessor Mi Band 5. Additionally, it has a bigger battery life, a built-in 24-hour heart rate sensor and SpO2 sensor, 130 watch faces, and 15 new exercise modes, in addition to the 15 exercise modes that the last year’s fitness band already supports, among other things.
