The handset was initially expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 at the Unpacked event but that didn’t happen due to the global chipset shortage. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on the Google Play Console listing, which reveals the chipset, RAM, display resolution, and Android OS. This suggests the phone may see light in the day soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on the Google Play Console website (via MyFixGuide). The listing shows the phone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU and 6GB RAM, but there could be other RAM options at launch. It is said to run Android 11 OS, probably skinned with OneUI 3.1 out of the box, and feature an FHD+ (1,080 X 2,009) display.
