Realme GT 5G launch date in India is August 18th and the brand is expected to announce the GT Master Edition, Master Edition Explorer Edition, and Realme laptop on stage. The Realme GT was originally unveiled in China back in March, while the GT Master Edition debuted last month. Now, ahead of the Realme GT launch date in India, the has been listed on Flipkart (via mobile app), thereby confirming its online availability. The listing reads, “Flagship Killer 2021 Coming Soon” and shows a racing car, a speedometer, and the ‘GT’ moniker. The Flipkart listing doesn’t reveal anything about the flagship just yet, but we already know that the India version will carry similar specs as the global model.

Realme GT 5G specifications
Realme GT specifications include a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with punch-hole cutout, 120Hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla 5. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 11-based Realme UI custom skin out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. Connectivity features include 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
Realme GT 5G has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures 8.4mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams. It is equipped with stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio.
