OnePlus Nord 2 goes on sale in India for the first time after it was launched in the country last week. The handset will come as a successor to the original OnePlus Nord and brings quite a few upgrades in terms of internal hardware and design. The handset has a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner for the selfie snapper, a rectangular camera module on the back with triple sensors, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. OnePlus Nord 2 is also the first phone from the company to ship with a MediaTek chipset i.e Dimensity 1200 SoC. Additionally, it comes with a 50MP Sony primary camera, 90Hz AMOLED display, and 65W fast-charging support.

The OnePlus Nord 2 price in India is Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs 34,999 for Blue Haze and Gray Sierra colours. However, the Nord 2 12GB + 256GB version will be available in Green Woods leather finish at Rs 34,999 and it will be on sale in August alongside the 6GB + 128GB model at Rs 27,999. The handset is currently on sale via Amazon for Prime users and the OnePlus websites.
Customers can avail 10 percent instant discount of up to Rs 1750 with HDFC Bank debit/credit card EMI transactions and up to Rs 1250 for Non-EMI transactions. On the OnePlus website, buyers can avail of Rs 1000 off with HDFC Bank Credit Cards and EMI. Amazon is offering up to Rs 20,250.00 off on exchange.

OnePlus Nord 2 sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 2400×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC coupled with ARM G77 MC9 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 11 based OxygenOS custom skin on top and has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
Moving to cameras, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, f/1.88 aperture, and 6P lens; an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119.7-degree field of view, EIS, and f/2.25 aperture; and a 2MP mono lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. It measures 158.9 X 73.2 X 8.25mm and weighs 189 grams. The phone is equipped with X-axis linear motor, screen flash, dual stereo speakers, and noise cancellation
