On Wednesday, POCO revealed the POCO M3 Pro 5G launch date and key specifications. The smartphone is set to go official globally on May 19th. POCO also teased that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a high screen refresh rate and MediaTek chipset in an interview with Android Central. With only a few days to go for the launch, the POCO M3 Pro 5G render has now surfaced online, revealing its complete design. As the company mentioned, the upcoming POCO phone will indeed come with a unique design as the brand looks to move away further from Xiaomi’s shadow.

POCO M3 Pro 5G design revealed in leaked renders
Tipster Ishan Agarwal posted a tweet on Wednesday with an image of the POCO M3 Pro 5G. The alleged POCO M3 Pro 5G render shows that the smartphone will have a display with a punch-hole mounted to the top-center of the screen.
According to the image, the POCO M3 Pro 5G will have a triple-camera setup at the rear with what looks like a dual-LED flash. The render also shows that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is 5G branding on the back panel of the device.
The render reveals that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will have a unique design with a dual tone finish. The smartphone has a rectangular black-colored strip at the rear covering the entire camera hump and it also has POCO branding on it. The device in the render is shown in blue, yellow, and black color variants and with a rather slim form factor.
POCO M3 Pro 5G specifications
According to company executives, the POCO M3 Pro 5G will have a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. However, the brand has not confirmed the exact model of the processor. POCO also reveals that the POCO M3 Pro 5G will come with a high refresh-rate display and 5G connectivity. The company has not confirmed yet if the POCO M3 Pro 5G will launch in the Indian market.
According to various reports, the POCO M3 Pro 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G that was launched in March. If that is indeed true, you can expect the POCO M3 Pro 5G to have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, a 48MP + 2MP + 2MP triple camera setup at the rear, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.
