TECNO Spark 7 has been launched in India and it comes as a successor to the Spark 6 that went official in the country back in September. The new TECNO phone has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, a rectangular camera module to accommodate dual sensors and LED flash, a physical fingerprint sensor for multiple colour options. Key TECNO Spark 7 specifications include a 6.52-inch HD+ display, a 6,000mAh battery, Android 11 OS out of the box, 16MP primary camera and up to 64GB expandable storage. TECNO Spark 7 will look to take on POCO C3, Redmi 9A, and Micromax 1b in the segment.

TECNO Spark 7 price in India is Rs 7,499 for the 2GB + 32GB storage variant and Rs 8,499 for the 3GB + 64GB version. It comes in Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue, and Spruce Green colour options. The phone will be on sale via Amazon from April 16th at 12 PM. As a part of the launch offer, customers get a Rs 500 discount, which brings down the price of Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999.

TECNO Spark 7 sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 1,600 X 720 pixels resolution, a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper, 2.5D curved glass layer, 480nits brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio A25 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU,3GB RAM, and 64GB storage. However, there’s also a 2GB/32GB storage version and this comes with the MediaTek Helio A20 SoC. The phone boots Android 11 OS (Go Edition) with HiOS 7.5 out of the box. Connectivity features 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a standard micro USB port for charging and data sync.
As for cameras, the TECNO Spark 7 has a 16MP primary sensor with quad-LED flash and a secondary AI lens. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper with dual-LED flash for video chats and selfies. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and measures 164.82×76.05. The phone packs a large 6,000mAh battery with no word on any fast charging support.
