Samsung Galaxy M42 5G price in India has been tipped ahead of its official launch. The phone is touted to be the first 5G-enabled device in the Galaxy M series and is expected to launch in India this month. Now, ahead of the unveiling, the Samsung Galaxy M42 price in India has surfaced on the web, courtesy of news agency IANSLive. As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy M42 India price could be between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000. If true, this could be the company’s most affordable 5G phone in India yet. The handset is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC, 5,000mAh battery, 64MP camera, and Android 11 OS.

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is said to a rebrand of the Galaxy A42 5G and if that’s indeed the case, we already know its complete specifications. The phone sports a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U waterdrop notch display on the front. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and at least 128GB storage option. The phone boots Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 custom skin on top. However, unlike the Galaxy M42 5G, the Galaxy A42 will come with a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.
The Galaxy A42 measures 75.9mm x 164.4mm x 8.6mm and weighs 190 grams.
Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy A42 has quad-cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. It has a 20MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
