Samsung Galaxy A22 5G spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance
According to previous leaks, the model number of the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is SM-A226B. This is the very model that was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance today. According to the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, the Galaxy A22 5G runs on the Android R (Android 11) operating system, and it has dual-band Wi-Fi. The certification also confirms that the phone has 5G connectivity. It is very little information but that is all the certification reveals.

The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy A22 5G suggests that the phone features MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 6GB of RAM. The phone has managed to score 562 points in the single-core test and 1,765 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 5.4.0.
The renders of the Galaxy A22 5G reveal that it will come with a triple-camera setup at the rear and that it will have a V-shaped notch on the display. The phone seems to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a glass panel at the rear.
According to various other reports, the Galaxy A22 5G will have a 48-megapixel primary camera at the rear. It is said to be available in two storage options and four color variants, Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet. The Galaxy A22 5G is expected to be Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone.
