Realme launched the Realme Buds Q2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in Pakistan on Wednesday. The Realme Buds Q2 bring a couple of improvements over their predecessors, such as a new design, longer battery life, and lower audio latency. However, Realme has unfortunately decided to use micro-USB port even for the Realme Buds Q2.

Realme Buds Q2 feature a 10mm driver, which, according to Realme, have a premium PEEK&TPU Polymer Composite Diaphragm, and a new Bass Boost+ enhancement “tuned by music studio” for an “amazing sound experience.” However, these drivers don’t seem any different from the ones in the Realme Buds Q. What is also interesting about Realme Buds Q2 is that the earphones have “Environmental Noise Cancellation” for clear calls. Realme Buds Q2 are IPX4 water and dust resistant as well.

The Realme Buds Q2 have Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity and these earphones support AAC and SBC audio codec. The earbuds have a Game Mode that can reduce the audio latency to just 88ms, which is a significant improvement over the Realme Buds Q’s 119ms audio latency. According to the brand, the Realme Buds Q2 have a kaleidoscope lamination process which gives these earphones a unique design pattern. The Realme Buds Q2 are available in Black and Blue color variants.

Although Realme hasn’t revealed the battery capacity of the Realme Buds Q2, it says that these earbuds can last 5 hours on a single charge and the charging case can hold three additional charges for a total playback time of 20 hours. The company also reveals that it will take about 1 hour and 40 minutes for the earbuds and about 2.5 hours for the charging case to charge an empty battery to 100 percent. Unfortunately, the Realme Buds Q2 have a micro-USB port instead of the more convenient USB Type-C port.
