Realme 8 5G launch in Thailand is set for April 21st and the phone is expected to launch in India soon after. Now, ahead of the announcement, the Realme 8 5G has been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications. According to the listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, the phone will come with MediaTek MT6882, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, Android 11, and 8GB RAM. However, it was recently spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Realme 8 5G will have an FHD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 480 PPI. There are speculations the handset could be a rebrand of the Realme V13 5G that launched in China.
Realme 8 5G teaser images spotted
Separately, Realme 8 5G teaser images have revealed the colour variants and the rear design of the phone. The phone will be available in Supersonic Blue and Supersonic Black colour options and it will weigh 185 grams and measure 8.5mm thickness. The Realme 8 5G will sport a rectangular rear camera module with quad lenses, with the primary sensor being a 48MP sensor. The ‘Dare to Leap’ branding that was seen on the standard Realme 8 series is missing from the 5G counterpart.
Realme V13 5G specifications
Realme V13 has triple cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chat. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
