Reamle 8 5G price in India and specifications will be officially revealed later this week. The company confirmed the April 22nd launch date some time ago and we have gotten a few teasers of the phone already. Additionally, some specifications have also been leaked in recent weeks. It seems most of the Realme 8 5G specs are identical to that of the 4G variant, with the exception of the chipset, of course. Furthermore, the Realme 8 5G is also tipped to be one of the most affordable smartphones in the country, even though the 5G networks are nowhere close to operational in India.

While the exact Realme 8 5G price in India is unknown, it is rumoured to be more affordable than the Realme Narzo 30 Pro. Therefore, we can expect it to retail at around Rs 14,000 or Rs 15,000. Realme 8 5G India launch is set for April 22nd, at 12:30 PM.

We will get to know what the Realme 8 5G will have in store for us a day earlier, as the smartphone will be launched in Thailand on April 21st. Earlier leaks told us that it will look similar to the base Realme 8. However, one primary difference between both variants is that the Realme 8 5G doesn’t come with the ‘Dare to Leap’ branding.
Under the hood, the Realme 8 5G is expected to pack a MediaTek Dimensitty 700 chipset, likely coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. At the back, we’re probably looking at a camera layout similar to that of the base Realme 8, i.e a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Lastly, the Realme 8 5G could draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
