The Vivo Y72 smartphone has been officially launched in Thailand as the company’s latest mid-range 5G offering. It comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, triple cameras at the back arranged in a rectangular module, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a glossy gradient design. The key Vivo Y72 specifications include 5G connectivity, MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, 16MP selfie snapper, and Android 11 OS out of the box. Vivo Y72 will be available in Graphite Black and Dream Glow colour options.

Vivo Y72 5G price is set at THB 9,999 (around Rs 23,400) and its first sale is on March 31st. The phone’s global launch details, including those for India, haven’t been revealed yet.

Vivo Y72 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone boots Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

As for the cameras, Vivo Y72 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. It supports features like Portrait, Night, Panorama, Live Photo, Slow-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, AR Stickers, DOC, Fun Video, and Jovi Vision There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and measures 163.95 × 75.30 × 8.50 mm and weighs 193 grams.
