Although we don’t yet have the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro launch date yet, we do have plenty of details about the phones. Realme 8 Pro design and 108MP camera were officially revealed recently. As the successor to the Realme 7 series, the upcoming Realme 8 series was also speculated to feature MediaTek chipsets. However, a new leak has now surfaced that suggests otherwise. According to a tipster, the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-series processors. The devices are expected to launch in 4G and 5G variants.

Realme 8 and 8 Pro specifications
The Realme 8 series will consist of two devices, a standard Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro. These devices are successors to the Realme 7 and the Realme 7 Pro, which were equipped with the MediaTek Helio G95 and Snapdragon 720G chipsets, respectively. The latest leak suggests that the Realme 8 4G will come with the Snapdragon 720G chipset, while the Realme 8 Pro 4G will be using the Snapdragon 730G SoC. Since this is a leak, we advise you take it with a pinch of salt.
There may also be a 5G variant of the Realme 8 Pro, but we’re not sure what chipset that will feature. The Realme 7 5G gets a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor and it’s likely that the 5G variants of the Realme 8 phones will use a similar chipset. The company recently released the Realme V15 5G with the Dimensity 800U processor, which makes us believe that the Realme 8 5G could also get the same treatment.
Other specifications that have been confirmed by Realme include, a 108-megapixel camera on the Pro variant. The Realme 8 Pro will get advanced camera features including a Starry Mode time-lapse, tilt-shift photography mode, and more. All of this would be powered by the 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor. We’d have to wait a bit longer to find out all the details, including price, and availability.
