Motorola Moto G50 specifications

The Motorola Moto G50 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Given the price of the device, the display resolution is inadequate. Anyway, the display has a V-shaped notch in the middle for a selfie camera. The Moto G50 comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor. This SoC is built on 8nm process. It has 2x Kryo 460 Gold and 6x Kryo 460 Silver CPU cores and Adreno 619 GPU. The device is available in the 4GB+64GB version. A 128GB storage option is also on offer. The Moto G50 runs on Android 11 OS with stock Android UI. Motorola has promised “at least one” major OS upgrade.

In the camera department, the Moto G50 features three rear cameras; a 48MP main sensor with PDAF, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Unfortunately, the rear camera can not record 4K videos. For selfies, it has a 13MP camera.

The Moto G50 packs a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging. The phone has two SIM card slots and 5G connectivity. You get dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the back panel. Speaking of which, Motorola mentions on its website that G50 has a plastic body. The back panel seems to be made out of plastic as well. The Moto G50 also gets a water-repellent design.
