The iQOO 7 India launch has already been teased by the company and we now know the phone’s arrival is imminent. Two new iQOO smartphones have appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website in India. One of them is the iQOO 7 and the other is believed to be the iQOO Neo 5, as spotted by MySmartPrice. The iQOO Neo 5 was recently launched in China, and is expected to make its debut soon in India. Meanwhile, the Indian variant of the iQOO 7 was recently spotted on Geekbench, which means that the phone should also launch in the country very soon.
iQOO 7 and iQOO Neo 5 India launch imminent
The two iQOO smartphones that passed through Indian BIS are carrying the model numbers I2009 and I2011. It is believed that I2009 is the iQOO 7 flagship smartphone, whereas I2011 could be a variant of the mid-range iQOO Neo 5. Previously, the iQOO Neo 5 was listed on a benchmarking site carrying the model number I2012. We know that iQOO is planning on bringing the new iQOO phones to India. Its last product in the country was the iQOO 3, which was launched back in February 2020.
The company has already started teasing the iQOO 7 for India. This is a flagship phone and was launched in China in January this year. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor and has 12GB RAM. The phone gets a 6.62-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 4,000mAh battery with support for ultra-fast 120W charging technology, and also packs a 48-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
On the other hand, the iQOO Neo 5 features the Snapdragon 870 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone also comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It gets a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor, and a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Both the iQOO Neo 5 and iQOO 7 feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, while also offering 5G connectivity.
